1st class - Introducing yourself and the verb to be
This past week was an exciting one. Our classmates had the chance to take on the role of teachers. Although I wasn’t able to attend, I’ve been hearing amazing things about what went down, and I’m really eager to share what they covered!
1. Introducing Yourself and Sharing Basic Information.
Regina's group led a super engaging session on how to introduce yourself. They covered the essentials: saying your name, age, where you’re from, and the things you like. I heard they not only had worksheets to help guide everyone, but also some fun activities that got the class interacting and practicing with each other. It sounds like it was a great way to get everyone comfortable!
William's group took on the important topic of the verb "to be," one of the foundational lessons in English. They walked through how to use pronouns with the verb in both singular and plural forms. From what I’ve gathered, the activities they did were really helpful, especially for those just starting out with the language. It seems like it was a perfect introduction to one of English’s most important basics!
That’s all for now, but I can’t wait to catch up on what happens next. I’m looking forward to the upcoming classes and hearing more about everyone’s progress!
