Fundamental teaching frameworks

Effective teaching often relies on two key frameworks: PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) for productive skills like writing and speaking, and PDP (Pre, During, Post) for receptive skills such as listening and reading.

PPP: Presentation, Practice, Production
Presentation: Introduce new language concepts, such as grammar or vocabulary.
Practice: Guide students through controlled and free practice, applying what they've learned.
Production: Students create their own work, solidifying their understanding.

PDP: Pre, During, Post
Pre: Prepare students by activating prior knowledge and introducing key terms.
During: Focus on comprehension while engaging with the material.
Post: Reflect and extend learning, connecting it to broader objectives.
Structure:
Warm-up, Presentation, Practice, Production (writing), and Wrap-up.

These frameworks ensure that teaching is structured, balanced, and effective, helping students develop both their productive and receptive language skills.
