Social service

Hi there!

It´s been a long week and it is not even Friday yet. This week we skipped classes (with a purpose of course) to attend a medical interpretation with Joni & Friends in Tabernaculo Biblico Bautista "Amigos de Israel".

This project is called "Wheels for the World", it provides life-changing mobility along with the hope of the Gospel to people impacted by disability around the world, and this time they visited El Salvador.

This project has a little twist because not only will they give wheelchairs but also there are therapists from America who have come to El Salvador to learn from Americans their new methods, new information, tips, etc. So, for the last few days, I have been interpreting for a group of therapists who want to become better therapists and for one "teacher" who is teaching them how to be better in their job.

It´s been a pretty busy week for me, my feet hurt for standing all day but it´s been a wholesome week full of learning. I have learned a lot of new medical terms and met beautiful souls who have melted my heart with their stories.

See you this week!
